What a busy, busy couple of weeks! John and I have worked on the house, traveled to Connecticut, and worked on the house some more! This past weekend, we had a garage sale for all of those things that we've acquired throughout the years and needed go. We were very surprised and thrilled that people wanted our stuff!
Two weekends ago, John and I flew up to Connecticut for our second Wedding Reception. It was tons of fun and was such a great weekend! The weather was awesome (although it poured during the reception, but we were inside!) and I did not want to come back to the hot, sticky Florida weather. We were so blessed to spend a spectacular evening with all of John’s family and friends at the bea-U-tiful Avon Old Farms Hotel. The food was great, the DJ was phenomenal and such a great guy and the atmosphere was total fun. John and I got to stay in the hotel’s honeymoon suite that night, and then spent the rest of the weekend at his parent’s home in Enfield, CT. We hung out with even more family the rest of the weekend and were exhausted after such a fun weekend! Pictures are coming soon!
This week, we are spending time with John's family who have made their annual trip to Disney in October! And this weekend, we are finally celebrating my Dad's birthday. He graciously (and quite happily) postponed his celebration until this weekend, as his birthday happened to fall at the same time as our Connecticut Reception. Happy Belated Birthday Dad!
